FAQ
How does ACES keep our student data files secure?
The student data files that are uploaded to the ACES system are loaded immediately into a secure data environment that meets all applicable federal security requirements for Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The secured data environment is a closed system, with no internet connection, that utilizes complex network firewalls. The student data are also encrypted in transit and at rest. In addition, the security team that administers the portal constantly monitors the system for vulnerabilities and threats while enforcing policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all e-PII received or transmitted.
