FAQ

I don’t have a statistical background; will I find an ACES report hard to interpret?

We hope not. ACES reports have been specially designed to provide nontechnical discussions of important findings. We designed them to be of value to those who have limited statistical background as well as useful to more technically savvy users.

Our reports include tables and charts to help the reader more easily make sense of the data, as well as text that explains what the numbers in your report mean and how to use them.

A good validity study provides a lot of information and can’t simply present a “this works” or “this doesn’t work” conclusion. Working through the report section by section can help you determine which information is most important and how it can be used in key decisions on your campus.
